Shire King 60W Acoustic Combo Amplifier

The Shire King Acoustic Stringed Instrument Amplifier offers the best combination of performance and features for the gigging musician. It can act as both a back-line amplifier or a personal monitor. There is the option for on stage control of out front PA sound via Jack Line out, or Sound Engineer friendly pre-EQ options via separate DI Outputs, per channel. With Alesis Digital 16 Channel Multi-FX available on both channels, it gives a wide range of complimentary sounds, whose level can be applied separately to the two channels. 5 band Baxandall EQ allows effective problem solving and creativity on the 1st channel, whilst the 3 band Baxandall EQ on the 2nd channel gives robust scope to achieve the desired sound.

The 8" cast frame driver and moving diaphragm tweeter sit perfectly in the truncated wedge Birch Ply cabinets which have been fine-tuned to maximise projection of the acoustic guitar range. This gives a high degree of tonal evenness including bottom strings tuned down to as low as "C" (65Hz), which is the same as the bottom string on a Cello. An active High Pass Filter protects the woofer speaker from frequencies below 65 Hz, which helps maintain the life and power of the speaker.

The SK amps have been designed with the gigging musician in mind. There is a variety of inputs to match all the common pick-up types, including the capacity for stereo input to two channels. In addition, there is an XLR input for microphones with a phantom power facility. A tuneable notch filter, with wide ranging width, allows the tuning out of unwanted acoustic feedback or resonances.
