Salvador Cortez' first all solid model, the CC-80 has the solid cedar top and solid mahogany sides and back. The tone is loud, light and lively. More complex than instruments with laminated sides and back, but not as well defined as an all solid guitar with rosewood sides and back, the mahogany is more forgiving and is perceived as more friendly. To improve on complexity, you could choose the Salvador Cortez CC-90 model, but at this pricepoint, the CC-80 can't be beaten.
