Hipshot BT8 Bass Xtender, HS0800C

The Hipshot HS0800C BT8 Bass Xtender is a chrome-finished drop-tuning mechanism designed for compatible USA F-style bass tuning machines. It allows you to lower the tuning of your low string instantly using a lever and return to the original tuning just as quickly, making it useful for bassists who play songs in different tunings.

The BT8 includes Hipshot's DoubleStop feature, which provides an additional tuning position between the standard high and low settings. This gives you three tuning options on one string without needing to retune manually.
