NitorLACK Nitrocellulose Paint – Trans Candy Apple Red – 400ml Aerosol is a premium spray lacquer developed to recreate one of the most iconic vintage guitar finishes of all time. Originally introduced by Fender in 1963 and inspired by the glossy look of sugar-coated apples, this vibrant Candy Apple Red was Leo Fender’s favourite.

To achieve the full metallic effect, apply this semi-transparent red colour over a silver or gold basecoat. Recommended undercoats include NitorLACK’s Silver Sparkle or Shoreline Gold in either aerosol or tin format.

This nitrocellulose lacquer merges layer by layer, allowing your guitar’s wood to breathe while delivering a stunning, high-gloss finish. It’s specially formulated for DIY use – no professional spray booth needed.

Ideal For:

• Electric guitars

• Classic or flamenco guitars

Application Tips:

• Shake well for 2–5 minutes before use

• Apply in thin, even coats from 20cm away

• Work in a low-humidity, well-ventilated area

• Sand between coats with 400 grit paper

• Allow 12–24 hours drying time between coats

• Apply primer beforehand for best results
