An Ultra Expressive Hit Hat

The Hi Hat is mounted separately, allowing for a more natural feel than a static pad. Mounted on a motion sensor unit, the hat can be customized to fit your playing style which includes having the option of Open/Closed and Half Open Hats.

A 12" INDEPENDENT SNARE DRUM

The DM-8 snare pad accurately replicates the sound of an acoustic snare drum, with its rim and shell design, allowing you to perform realistic rim shots and cross sticks. This allows for adaptation to many genres, like rock, funk and latin, while the cross stick is perfect for ballads and bossa nova. The snare utilises the latest three-point trigger technology, ensuring the sound from each drumhead is balanced. Furthermore, a sturdy independent snare stand is also included for optimal results.

A New 10" Kick

This 10-inch independent kick drum is equipped with a dual chain stay and a thicker soleplate to provide enhanced stability, allowing the beater to swing more consistently. The reinforced base plate also helps to keep the pedal firmly in place.

Group Fader

The DM-8 sound module is packed with innovation and impressive features, such as the Group Faders, which can set specific audio levels for each pad. Make custom drum mixes with ease!The module also offers 30 sets of top-notch drum kits with various styles. It has the capacity to generate any kind of drum sound you desire. Its user-friendly and powerful sound customization options let you customize your own drum kits. You can assign whatever sound you like to the rim or head.

USB AUDIO I/O

The DM-8 is an audio interface and MIDI controller, allowing you to transfer stereo audio and MIDI data from a Mac or Windows computer via USB. This enables discrete audio and MIDI recording in any DAW, as well as triggering sounds from software based drum instruments for both studio and live performances. You can even record up to 14 different audio tracks into your DAW of choice.

IMPORT YOUR SAMPLES

The DM-8 gives you the freedom to load your own WAV sound samples onto a USB Flash Drive. Assemble your own one-of-a-kind drum kit with all your preferred samples and map them to any pad for use. Open up a world of new possibilities!

EFFECTS
Do you want to take your drum sounds to the next level? The DM-8 provides a great selection of quality effects that can be chosen for each pad. From the EFFECT menu, you can pick from options such as EQ, Compression, Overdrive, or Reverb for each drum. You can also apply Master Compression and/or EQ to the overall mix.

Jamming & Recording
Rock out with the DM-8! Choose from a wealth of built-in songs, ranging from various musical genres, to jam with. Record your drumming onto a USB memory stick, or plug in your backing track of choice and save it as a WAV file to hear the whole mix. Additionally, use the AUX IN port to connect your preferred playback device and create a harmony between the backing tracks and your drumming.
