The TAD 6V6GT-STR REDBASE is a heavy-duty 6V6GT power tube designed to combine the tonal character of classic NOS 6V6GT tubes with the requirements of modern amplifiers. This product is supplied as a selected quartet (RT834).

The 6V6GT-STR REDBASE features a sweet, smooth top end and a dense, complex midrange. Its balanced response provides a lively, full-bodied tone, while the smooth upper mids help maintain a musical sound when the amplifier is pushed into saturation.

The tubes can handle higher plate voltages than regular 6V6GT tubes, making them suitable for a wide range of 6V6 power amplifiers.
