But this is no one-trick-pony – a surprisingly versatile and dynamic range of tones are on tap with the adjustment of the volume and tone controls. A '60s “C” neck with 21 medium jumbo frets and 9.5” radius fingerboard delivers a smooth blend of modern and vintage playability that is distinctly Fender.

Their shorter, wider internal bobbins create an improved bass response, while maintaining the bite and clarity that Fender single-coils are synonymous with.

Rolling off the tone knob creates a pleasing, broad low-end sound, while the Noventa's single volume pot can be used to clean up your crunch in style. Lending itself to any genre, from country to hardcore, the MP90 pickup makes the Novento a minimalist model that's got more than one trick up its sleeve.

Tonewoods to die for

Lumber support. Fender never skimps on their tonewood selection, and the Noventa series is no exception. The Noventa Telecaster's light, alder body gives a very even tone across the frequency spectrum - perfect for its function as a no-nonsense all-rounder. Its maple neck adds a little brightness, as well as truly stellar sustain, while a matching, snappy maple fingerboard completes the inimitable telecaster look.
